Check whether the goods belong together

Confirm that the chosen line accepts every product type and that the packing suits all items. Fragrances, fragile goods and bulky outerwear may need different handling. Check QC photos before requesting final packing.

Use the oldest warehouse storage deadline when deciding whether to wait for a later order. A possible shipping saving should be weighed against extension charges and delay.

Compare two actual packing plans

Combined versus separate parcels
CompareWhat to record
Weight and dimensionsPacked weight and outer dimensions for one combined parcel and each separate parcel.
FreightThe current payable quotes, using equivalent tracking, packing and optional cover.
Item compatibilityWhether each line accepts all proposed contents and meets packing needs.
TimingWhich goods are ready, the earliest storage deadline and the effect of waiting.

Combining can reduce repeated charges and excess packaging. A bigger carton can also increase dimensional weight. Use the chargeable weight checks before choosing.

Specify the packaging changes

  • Name the retail boxes, tags and accessories you need to keep.
  • Specify where protective wrapping is needed.
  • Ask for proposed weight and dimensions after repacking.
  • Confirm the consequences before removing packaging or seals.

Removing packaging may affect resale condition and return eligibility. Avoid a blanket request to remove everything when different goods need different protection.

Approve a clear final plan

Example packing enquiry

Please compare packing items [numbers] together with shipping them separately. Keep [boxes/accessories], protect [fragile areas] and confirm the packed weight, outer dimensions and full quote for each suitable route.

Approve the current measurements, contents and total. Example savings from another shipment do not price yours. Splitting parcels does not remove declaration or import obligations.
