Start with the correct warehouse date

GTBuy’s published Free Storage Period notice gives ordinary purchasing and forwarding items 90 days of free storage from the Warehoused status. The payment date, seller dispatch date and arrival of another item do not restart that item’s clock.

Keep a separate date for every item. If three orders arrive on different days, they have different deadlines even when you intend to send them together. Reviewing QC photos promptly leaves more time to request a missing view or resolve a problem.

Separate the free period from overdue handling

Storage rules checked against GTBuy’s published notice
SituationPublished handlingWhat to do
Ordinary item within 90 daysFree storage from Warehoused status; expiry email reminders are provided.Check the item date and arrange dispatch in time.
Ordinary item stored more than 90 daysOverdue; packing is blocked. An extension fee can restore normal status.Confirm the charge, extension period and restored packing status.
Item stored more than 120 daysAbandoned or destroyed, without recovery.Resolve storage and shipment before this limit.
Unlinked parcel with no associated orderSeparate 90-day limit from Warehoused status; no expiry reminders.Associate the order and confirm the applicable deadline promptly.

The 120-day limit is not a promise of another 30 free days. GTBuy’s notice does not publish a fixed extension price or duration. Do not budget for a particular extension package until its terms are confirmed.

Plan around the oldest item

List the item number, Warehoused date, inspection status and dispatch deadline. Check whether an unresolved size or condition issue needs a return request; the return window and storage period are separate.

If a newer order is delayed, compare sending ready goods with waiting and extending older items. The combined and split parcel guide covers that packing decision. A possible freight saving should not hide the cost or risk of an overdue item.

Deal with an unlinked parcel separately

GTBuy’s notice says unlinked parcels do not receive expiry reminders and cannot be recovered after disposal. Do not assume that the ordinary order’s extension process or 120-day handling applies to an unidentified parcel.

Useful details for a storage enquiry

Item or tracking number: [number]. Warehoused date: [date]. Please confirm the order association, current deadline, available extension, charge and new packing deadline.

Check that the order association or extension has actually been recorded. Keeping an email conversation is useful, but it does not by itself update the warehouse status.

Finish the checks before dispatch

Confirm that all selected items can be packed, the recipient details are complete and the inspection questions are resolved. The shipping and weight explanation describes why packaging can change the amount charged.

GTBuy’s storage notice covers physical safeguarding, not a product’s shelf life. It also states that disposal receives no additional notification. Keep your email address active and monitor dates yourself rather than relying entirely on reminders.
